Leagel always takes great care about processing methods to manufacture its semi-finished products, with all production activities carried out in accordance with the European Union HACCP regulations.

A food technologists Staff, headed by Dr. Roberto Leardini, the Founder´s son, co-working with Food Science and Technology Faculty- University of Bologna, they developed various special processes to achieve unique products in this particular market field.

Some semi-finished products require over twelve hours processing methods just to secure that the typical traditional taste, which has made Italian ice cream incomparable throughout the world and otherwise highly altered in normal industrial processing, remains intact.
